I prefer to empty the capsule in juice or water, and take it that way. It tastes great mixed with a little bit of cranberry juice. I have tried a lot of different iron supplements and I feel that this one is worth the price.
This product contains a probiotic. I think this is a good thing, but has given me some loose stools so I thought it was worth mentioning!

After using this product for 6 months I began recommending to my patients. Low iron often goes undetected. Many providers do not take the time to check it unless you are anemic. Early signs of low iron can include hair loss, fatigue, muscle cramps. It is not a routine screen but if your primary care is good they can recognize early signs from a simple blood count. I can not say enough about this product. I have recommended a couple other but this is my personal favorite. My patients love it because they do not experience those unwanted side effects. Thank you Garden of life for creating the Vitamin Code line.

This iron is very gentle on my stomach and helps to treat my low iron caused by malabsorption. I take it before bed, soon after dinner. Works great and has cured my dizzy spells. Cant recommend it more.
