Vomit Burps, January 24, 2011 By This review is from: Garden of Life Vitamin Code, Liquid Multi, 30 Ounces (Health and Beauty) When I heard Vitamin Code came out with a liquid vitamin, I was excited to try it. I went to the health store and was about to be rung up when the sales lady stopped me. She said she had to warn me that many people had been returning this product. She said most people were complaining about a vomit taste. I really thought people were just being sissies so I bought it. WOW was I wrong! I took a full dose after eating a sandwich and I almost threw up! My gag reflex has just barely stopped 15 minutes later but now Im having little burps that smell like vomit and those are making me nauseous. As I am writing this, I can smell the liquid vitamin lingering as I exhale out my nose. I am returning this stuff today!

First of all, I have candida. I have looked and looked to find a liquid multivitamin supplement with zero grams of sugar, and this is the only one on the market I could find. Yes it contains Brewer's Yeast, but both Brewer's Yeast and Nutritional Yeast or ok for candida diet.
Let me first address the "vomit" taste concern that was brought up by some other reviewers. People, you've got to be kidding. If you drink soda pop, pasteurized juices, refined sugar, and other sweets in abundance, then this vitamin supplement probably won't be for you. Even still, this drink tastes nothing like vomit. If you think it does, I wish my vomit tasted half as good as yours. Believe it or not, I actually don't mind the taste, and I take it on an empty stomach to speed up the absorption rate and have experienced no problems.

The saleswoman informed me about the taste and I thought, how bad can it be? But it does not taste very good. Definitely shocking, but you get used to it and just take a little juice before and after, use a shot glass, try to avoid the tip of your tongue and it's fine.
The energy I feel when I use this product can not be matched.
After my first bottle ran out, I was at Costco and saw a bottle of Reviva (another liquid multi) for $9.00 and so I purchased it to try out of pure interest $9 vs. $30 is a significant difference for the same amount of liquid. I took Reviva for a week and it gave me headaches that I couldn't control with anything! It was horrible. My husband had an instant reaction and was nauseous all day. Costco took the Reviva back. But yes, it tasted good.
