Great! Love them, November 28, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Multivitamin Supplement, 90 Count (Health and Beauty) I have done SOOOO much research on prenatal vitamins, and this is the one I keep coming back to! It is perfect, the nutrients are bioavailable(readily absorbed by the body), it does not contain dangerous ingredients, and contains lots of healthy ORGANIC fruit and veggie juices, sprouted grains, etc.
My midwife was thrilled to hear that I was taking these, and she highly recommends them after doing lots of research herself.
I love that it contains probiotics which are so good for you and baby. 3 pills a day means that the nutrients are better absorbed because you are not taking them all at once(although if I forget to take them during the day I will take them all at night and have not had any probs, but I prefer spacing them out).
And, these did not give me morning sickness(or worsen what I was already feeling) like other brands I have taken.
These are a little low in calcium, magnesium and vitamin k which you can easily get from a healthy diet. This vitamin does... Read more

The folks at Whole Foods recommended these and the transition from my old multi to this prenatal was seemless. I sometimes break them apart and sprinkle in yogurt, on food, etc. I asked my nutritionist about these, showing him the label, and he said it was one of the most comprehensive/best he had ever seen.

But I've taken many different multivitamins before I researched them and found advice that women should take prenatal vitamins even during child-bearing years. These where the first ones I tried and after a few weeks I felt fantastic! I've never felt that way on any other vitamin. It's given me a noticeable energy increase and I haven't had any negative side effects what so ever!
