Excelent Product, August 13, 2008 This review is from: Garden of Life Perfect Food Original, Super Green Formula, 10.6-Ounce Canister (Health and Beauty) This product is great for overall health and wellness as well as energy. The Garden of Life has the best product over GNC or any other. I have a chronic illness and do not take any medications; just use their products and I stay in remission! Great for vitamins and minerals if you don't eat enough veggies. Mix it in a smoothie with Cranberry juice, 4 oz of fruit yogurt, any frozen or fresh fruit, Tbsp of honey and some ice in a blender with 1 tsp of Super Food...........DELICIOUS!!

Good, not great, December 22, 2011 This review is from: Garden of Life Perfect Food Original, Super Green Formula, 10.6-Ounce Canister (Health and Beauty) Perfect Food Super Greens is not bad, but I think there are better ways to get green into you. I don't need to hide the green taste, in any product, with stevia, or to try to turn these mixtures into some sort of icky "milkshake". More important, I want no magnesium stearate in my green drink, in any amount (nor in my pills). Here's a quote for Garden of Life's magazine, volume 13, by nutritionist Jay Bugai, refering to the company's product "RAW MEAL". He says that RAW MEAL is easy to digest because it lacks certain ingredients which are hard to digest:
"[I]t is the absence of things that tend to be difficult to digest, including ... maltodextrin, and magnesium stearate." Let us note, then, that Perfect Food Super Greens contains both maltodextrin and magesium stearate.
Also, the lable says "chlorella". I wrote to the company asking if the chlorella was "broken cell", which is much easier to digest, and was answered thus: "The chlorella is not cracked wall chlorella... Read more

I actually have trouble sleeping if I take it at night! The first time a tried it I mixed it with white grape juice- GROSS. I HIGHLY recommend orange juice. I like the OJ with pulp, then the green stuff in my mind if OJ chunks. It doesn't have an aftertaste either. I LOVE this stuff!
